The Age of Adaline (2015) Review
Most of us dream about the future. "What will they think of next?", we wonder as we marvel at the technological innovations of the present and try to imagine what could be on the other side of the horizon. We're curious to see how society will change with the times as we reflect back on everything we've seen already. We want the best for our children and we hope to live long enough to see them reach their goals and find happiness. Most of us wish for a long and healthy life, and would consider that a tremendous blessing. But can there really be too much of a good thing? Is it possible that longevity could, at some point, become a curse? In "The Age of Adaline" (PG-13, 1:50), one woman finds out that joy and pain can both increase with time.

Dhoom: 3 ( 2013) Movie Review
Aamir
khan once again proved that he is better than anyone. Dhoom 3 is not
regular type Dhoom movies. It has story, revenge, action, awesome visuals,
great bikes, racing, super songs, heart touching climax, exiting
suspense(but it is taken from the movie prestige) and brilliant acting
by Aamir khan. only 2 thing i hate in this movie is the bike
transferring to a boat that horrible and Abhishek Bachchan(waste) why
cant them just remove him from this movie. Malang song awesome. i cant
tell you how brilliant is Aamir acting you have to see it yourself. i
promise you will not regret.

The Hobbit:The Battle of the Five Armies Movie Review
So... That was The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The final film in Peter Jackson's six-film Middle-Earth saga.
This may just be Jackson's most ambitious film yet. It has to work as a standalone film, it has to be the final part of a trilogy, and it has to be the bridge between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings films. Ambitious?
Let me state for the record that I'm an enormous fan of the Lord of the Rings films. I consider them to be the best trilogy of all time. However, I didn't really have that same vibe with the Hobbit films. I admit, when I heard they would begin making more Middle-Earth films, I was excited. The thought of returning to Middle-Earth was exhilarating.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Movie Storyline
Brash space adventurer Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) finds himself the
quarry of relentless bounty hunters after he steals an orb coveted by
Ronan, a powerful villain. To evade Ronan, Quill is forced into an
uneasy truce with four disparate misfits: gun-toting Rocket Raccoon,
treelike-humanoid Groot, enigmatic Gamora, and vengeance-driven Drax the
Destroyer. But when he discovers the orb's true power and the cosmic
threat it poses, Quill must rally his ragtag group to save the universe.
You might expect a movie studio at the top of its game to play it safe rather than strike out in new, bizarre directions. Certainly, it's hard to imagine any other studio giving the greenlight to Guardians Of The Galaxy - a huge blockbuster movie based on a title unfamiliar to anyone who isn't a comics aficionado, starring a relatively unknown actor playing a character most people have never heard of. And yet, Marvel scores once again with its willingness to head off the beaten track. GUARDIANS is a fun, fizzy delight, even as it mines some surprising depths of emotion from its ragtag group of anti-heroes.

So Logan decides to go back himself because he might be able to withstand it. So Charles tells him that it's Mystique who's responsible because when she learned about the Sentinels she sought out Bolivar Trask the man who created them and killed him. She would be caught and studied and her ability to change was somehow added to the Sentinels which is why they can adapt. Logan must go to the younger Charles and ask him to help; problem is... Days of Future Past continues the work of X2 as genre-defining. I have to classify it as a work of art/comic book pulp fiction. The characters, effects, and story are outstanding. Everything in this movie is exceedingly better in the sequel then even the first two films and First Class. Like X2, the acting is superb and the dialogue is rich. Every character feels believable. No cartoonish villains, every side of the issue is presented by people who believe they are the ones who are in the right and the underlying message of tolerance and bigotry only add to the depth of this film. What's better then its predecessor X3 in every way. It restores the sense of epic adventure and grand-scale storytelling that's been absent from far too many of most alleged blockbusters.

The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune -- all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent. The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) Movie
Here
we are with Wes Anderson's latest film, The Grand Budapest Hotel, which
once again excels in everything Anderson knows best by delivering
another kind of film. This movie combines early comedy slapstick and
hijinks with that Anderson dry humor and melancholy along with the
requisite great cast, performances, and set design to make this one of
his best films easily.
Good:
I love the whole cast. Ralph Fiennes as Gustave is amazing and he is
one of the best lead roles in an Anderson movie to date. Newcomer Tony
Revolori easily keeps up with Fiennes doing a fantastic job. Everyone
else from Norton to Ronan are fantastic. The set design and
cinematography are magnificent as usual with great scenery and cool
children book style backgrounds. The comedy hits every time and it even
packs some surprises to with a great murder mystery that gels with a
road film. There's even some sweetness underneath the zaniness giving it
some surprising depth to it.

Big Hero 6 (2014) Movie Storyline
From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind "Frozen" and "Wreck-It Ralph," comes "Big Hero 6," an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax, a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada. When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called "Big Hero 6."
Take the "E.T." climax for example or the "let's become superheros 'idea'" or the "my best friend's a robot" or "my parents are dead" or basically anything else in the film. None of it's truly original. All the way down to the achingly bad "San Fransokyo" thing. There were a few times when I was genuinely entertained. The only problem is - that's not why I watch movies, to become a mindless garbage receptacle. I hate to admit it but what was said about Krei early in the film - that he basically cheats his way around science and only cares about money is EXACTLY where Walt Disney Studios is right now. I hate to say it but Disney is showing that it is not concerned with true art, only $$

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) Movie Review
10 years after the events of 'Rise of Planet of Apes' got over, the events of 'Dawn of Planet of Apes' follow. We saw that some virus originates causing an epidemic called simian flu spread across the globe during the closing credits of the previous installment. The same events are show in the opening credits of this one. Most of the humans on the earth's surface are wiped out and few who are alive seem to be somehow immune to the virus. While the apes lead by Caesar have established a new home in the forest and growing in population day by day. The group of human survivors need a dam to be back in operation so that they get electricity but the problem is it lies close to the ape territory. And there the differences on both sides start to begin.

Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) Movie Storyline
Epic adventure Exodus: Gods and Kings is the story of one man's daring courage to take on the might of an empire. Using state of the art visual effects and 3D immersion, Scott brings new life to the story of the defiant leader Moses as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses, setting 600,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.
Exodus: Gods and Kings is a stunning biblical epic with beautiful A-list stars. The grand shots with seamless CGI are the best visual recreation to date of the sheer magnitude of the exodus. Scott artfully brings to life an ancient world that is beautiful to watch. Unfortunately good looks, great actors and a big budget don't equate to a great movie in this case. Christian Bale and the entire cast's excellent performances were overshadowed by the poor casting choices to hire them. The all-white lead cast and betrayal of the biblical tale can be brushed off as Hollywood child-play. However, the unbelievable characters, flimsy dialog and exhausting monotonous tension plagued Exodus. The film is visually beautiful; but unfortunately not much else.

Nightcrawler (2014) Movie Storyline
NIGHTCRAWLER is a thriller set in the nocturnal underbelly of contemporary Los Angeles. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Lou Bloom, a driven young man desperate for work who discovers the high-speed world of L.A. crime journalism. Finding a group of freelance camera crews who film crashes, fires, murder and other mayhem, Lou muscles into the cut-throat, dangerous realm of nightcrawling - where each police siren wail equals a possible windfall and victims are converted into dollars and cents. Aided by Rene Russo as Nina, a veteran of the blood-sport that is local TV news, Lou blurs the line between observer and participant to become the star of his own story.
The filmmaking perfectly captures their night's work. You couldn't clearly see the scenario they shoot unless you watch them on a video footage. The violence and peril they witness are shown without any hint of sympathy, since they only use them for the news show. The horror of these gritty scenes once again belongs to the nightcrawler. Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the biggest highlights here. His character obviously has the personality of a psychotic villain; he is mostly bluffing, and by the dashing enthusiasm he shows to the people around him, you probably may not know when his inner total madness will burst out from his frightening eyeballs, and that provides more tension than you expect. This is one of the Gyllenhaal performances that will be remembered for his career.

2014 has had it's good share of movies and good movies for that matter, we've had the Nolan's Mind boggling interstellar to start with and then the grand Budapest hotel which got much of the appreciation by all and sundry. We had our good share of sequels and prequels ranging from The Planet of Apes series to spider-man, X-men, Hobbit, how to train your dragon, 300, Hunger games, 22 jump street, horrible bosses two, dumb and dumber two, transformers, expendables and.... *Sigh* it doesn't stop here there's more to them a lot more but it isn't about all of these
The Theory of Everything is a 2014 British biographical coming of age romantic drama film[4] directed by James Marsh and adapted by Anthony McCarten from the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Wilde Hawking, which deals with her relationship with her former husband, theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, his diagnosis of motor neuron disease, and his success in physics

The Theory of Everything (2014) Movie Storyline
The Theory of Everything is the story of the most brilliant and celebrated physicist of our time, Stephen Hawking, and Jane Wilde the arts student he fell in love with whilst studying at Cambridge in the 1960s. Little was expected from Stephen Hawking, a bright but shiftless student of cosmology, given just two years to live following the diagnosis of a fatal illness at 21 years of age. He became galvanized, however, by the love of fellow Cambridge student, Jane Wilde, and he went on to be called the successor to Einstein, as well as a husband and father to their three children. Over the course of their marriage as Stephen's body collapsed and his academic renown soared, fault lines were exposed that tested the lineaments of their relationship and dramatically altered the course of both of their lives. The Theory of Everything 2014
The story of Stephen Hawking and his then wife Jane, apparently based on a book she wrote about it, which probability explains why there was not much science in the movie, not that I'm complaining, as it was a well played film about a difficult relationship.
I didn't known Stephen and his wife actually met around the same time as he began to suffer from Lou Gehrig's Disease. Makes the whole concept that Hawking has three kids with this woman more interesting (something was working). Felicity Jones did a great job playing such a strong, patient, and compassionate woman, all well narrated in this movie. The difficulty Jane Hawking had being with a man getting trapped in his own body, played by Eddie Redmayne.I have herd of Hawking's surprisingly positive personality, not because of his condition, but because I expected his condition would make it hard to express any emotion. Redmayne did his research to express the struggle of Hawking on camera nicely (I keep forgetting The Hawking is a Brit).

As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom - and perhaps to Maleficent's true happiness as well.
Angelina Jolie's expressive face is the perfect showcase for the character - it is the role of her lifetime. Like the way they did her cheekbones to make it like the Disney cartoon. Sam Riley as her sidekick morphs into many fairy tale creatures crow, dragon horse. The creatures are well done not awkward in movement and not overwhelming. Elle Fanning is sweet and picture perfect for the role of Aurora and Brenton Thwaites plays her prince. The fairies including Juno Temple and Imelda Staunton are cute too.

Godzilla is a 2014 American science fiction monster film directed by Gareth Edwards. It is a reboot of the Godzilla film franchise and retells the origins of Godzilla in contemporary times as a "terrifying force of nature".[5] The film is set mostly in the present day, fifteen years after a discovery that leads to the awakening of two giant radiation-eating creatures, known as "MUTOs", who in turn awaken a much larger and more destructive, ancient prehistoric alpha predator known as "Godzilla", whose existence has been kept secret by the U.S. government since 1954. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is credited to Max Borenstein but includes contributions from David Callaham, David S. Goyer, Drew Pearce, and Frank Darabont.

In doing so, father and son discover the disaster's secret cause on the wreck's very grounds. This enables them to witness the reawakening of a terrible threat to all of Humanity, which is made all the worse with a second secret revival elsewhere. Against this cataclysm, the only hope for the world may be Godzilla, but the challenge for the King of the Monsters will be great even as Humanity struggles to understand the destructive ally they have. Godzilla 2014
If you are really excited to see a deep, human film with camera angles and writing that really tell a story that is thematically transcendent such as "District 9" and the Korean film "The Host," this is not your film. The script is filled with overtly simplistic rhetoric and one dimensional characters (intentionally,) the scenes somehow manage to have very little tension (even for me, the pilot episodes for most sitcoms seem more tense than Gozilla,) and as stated above, the camera-work is intentionally hammy. It should also be noted that to add a human element, the director overuses children to the point that it ends up feeling very obvious, as though he did it to be intentionally campy.

Unbroken (I) (2014) Movie Storyline
The life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic athlete who joined the armed forces during the second world war. Only to be captured by the Japanese navy after a plane crash in the Pacific. During his capture, Louie must continue his fight by surviving through the war. Unbroken (I) (2014) Movie
Louis Zamperini's story of survival was robbed of all feeling and emotion in this screen portrayal. Jolie has cast a very flat, laconic, and unconvincing crew of young Abercrombie models who lack the depth of seasoned actors who would have otherwise convinced us that there was actual pain and suffering throughout this. After a month afloat on a raft the three men's hair was well-groomed and one even had a goatee (are there razors in the survival kit?). I felt like I was watching Casper Van Dien in Starship Troopers; if you have seen this movie you will know exactly what I am taking about. Read the book - it will give you the emotion and satisfaction you are entitled to from this survival story.
Furious Seven (2015) Movie is a Action, Crime, Thriller . Deckard Shaw seeks revenge against Dominic Toretto and his family for his comatose brother. Genres: Action, Crime, Thriller. Director: James Wan Writers: Chris Morgan, Gary Scott Thompson (characters) Stars: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson | Release date: 3 April 2015 (USA) Run time: 137 min
Dominic Torretto and his crew thought they left the criminal mercenary life behind. They defeated an international terrorist named Owen Shaw and went their seperate ways. But now, Shaw's brother, Deckard Shaw is out killing the crew one by one for revenge. Worse, a Somalian terrorist called Jakarde, and a shady government official called "Mr. Nobody" are both competing to steal a computer terrorism program called God's Eye, that can turn any technological device into a weapon. Torretto must reconvene with his team to stop Shaw and retrieve the God's Eye program while caught in a power struggle between terrorist and the United States government. Furious Seven (2015) Movie
The family of street racers are back…again; there are personal matters at stake…again; circumstances have forced them to team up for one last ride…again. Having successfully defeated criminal mastermind Owen Shaw, members of the crew have gone their separate ways. Little did they know about Shaw's big, bad—and ingeniously resourceful—brother Deckard, who comes lurking out of the shadows for revenge (heretofore unseen big brother comes to avenge little brother, truly a novel cinematic idea). Add to the mix a few other ruthless bad guys, some shady and seemingly indestructible federal agents, a beautiful woman with brains, some rough-and-tumble fight scenes, one ridiculously over-the-top action sequence after another, and the stage is set for pretty much everything you've come to expect from this long-running franchise. Logic, character development, and story continuity/credibility take a backseat to needless exposition, crowd-pleasing one-liners, and superfluous action set pieces, like you'd expect, but the presence of series veterans, effective casting in key roles, and knowledge that this is the late Paul Walker's final film give it much more weight than it should. **

Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them. Written by Sony Pictures Entertainment
22 Jump Street 2014
After a successful undercover drug bust operation in high school, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) get their next big assignment. Now in the sequel 22 Jump Street, as Ice Cube so eloquently put it, these "two sons of b***hes are going to college." As the cop duo take on yet another drug ring, they go through multitude of ridiculous yet hilarious situations. In doing so, there are some formulaic traps that the movie does fall into. Despite that, it is just an incredible ride with non-stop laughter and great comedic chemistry between the lead actors. This is a must-see for fans of 21 Jump Street and people who generally like to laugh.
Full Review:
The original movie, 21 Jump Street, was a surprise hit back in 2012. It was a movie filled with many belly aching moments of laughter. For that reason, of all the comedies of 2014 this sequel may be the most anticipated, at least it was for me. So the question is: does it deliver on the high expectations? And the answer is: oh hell yes it does.
There is one absolute in this franchise that no one will dispute, the chemistry between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum is incredible. As soon as their on screen you immediately start smiling, just because you feel the need to prepare yourself for something amusing. Then when they do go about their shenanigans, numerous twists and turns occur that are fun to watch unfold, to hilarious effect. The jokes are fast paced and relentless, without it being tiresome. More importantly the comedy is actually clever, even during some of the scenarios the are more stupid due to some absurdity. The combination of the comedic duo and the intelligent humor work flawlessly, making the flick all the more entertaining. As great as the two leads are with their comedic timing, I need to especially mention Ice Cube. I won't spoil anything of course, but there are points in this movie where Ice Cube actually steals the scenes he is in. I'd pay the full movie ticket price just to see that dynamic between Ice Cube and the two leads. It is that good.
I do recognize there are some faults with 22 Jump Street. It did stick with the philosophy of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." In that sense, the general story plot is pretty much the same as the original movie. 22 Jump Street is self-aware of what it is, and pokes fun of itself for being a sequel that follows the formula. However, addressing this fault in that comedic way will not be enough for everyone to forgive it. Still, I think this is something that you can easily look past because of how enjoyable the movie is.
The one purpose of a comedy is to make you laugh, and 22 Jump Street fulfills that requirement consistently throughout the movie. By throughout the movie, I mean even during the credits. Your cheeks will have a good exercise, because mine were in pain with all the laughing. It is well worth your time and money, so don't miss out on this one. If they keep this up I will be there even at 1022 Jump Street.

A Most Violent Year Movie Reviews
First of all let me just say, if IMDb allowed 0.5 votes, this would probably get a 6.5 from me. Where to begin with this one ? Well it's shot well, the cast nail the parts, but from start to finish you are waiting for the film to come to life, and unfortunately it just never does.
Some people will appreciate this film much more than others, but for me it was average at best. The main reason we all watch films and television, is to be entertained, and unfortunately with A Most Violent Year, it feels like we have been left wanting.
You never really get to appreciate 1980s New York, a couple of panoramic skylines don't really cut it. With a bit more substance to the story, better visuals & some period music, this film could & should have been much better.

Selma 2014 Storyline
The unforgettable true story chronicles the tumultuous three-month period in 1965, when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition. The epic march from Selma to Montgomery culminated in President Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965, one of the most significant victories for the civil rights movement. Director Ava DuVernay's "Selma" tells the story of how the revered leader and visionary Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and his brothers and sisters in the movement prompted change that forever altered history. Selma 2014 Movies Reviews
Film critic Richard Roeper said it best. Selma is a film that provides a history lesson, but doesn't feel like a history lecture. Not one bit.
I foresee a bright future for the director Ava DuVernay and actor David Oyelowo. For DuVernay's second or third effort, it's quite an achievement what she manages to do with this film. For nearly fifteen years she's been working in studio marketing and publicity and her film speaks for itself. She directs the film with flare and keeps the film emotionally grounded. Even though at times you think you know whats coming, DuVernay keeps us at bay and also provides us with some neat surprises. Also give Paul Webb some credit with his sharp screenplay.
David Oyelowo truly embodies MLK. More often than not Selma tends to focus on something not many people tend to expect in a movie about MLK. The script showcases his doubts and insecurities. Oyelowo comes through with a deeply felt and compelling performance. He also nails Dr. King's speech patterns, voice, even his posture and shows that Dr. King has his flaws, but is a compassionate person. I find it hard that anyone will be able to take their eyes off him. What a performance. Shame that it was overlooked by the Academy.
Everyone in the cast brings their "A-game." I liked Carmen Ejogo as Coretta Scott King, but I wanted just a little more of her character, but she makes up the most of what she has. Oprah Winfrey is solid as Annie Lee Cooper. She has a very substantial role and has a nice subplot. Other particular standouts are Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon B. Johnson, Tim Roth as George Wallace.
Selma takes itself very seriously, there isn't much humor to be found, and any break from documenting its events are often downbeat character moments. However DuVernay's talent is in full blaze. This film is very heavy, but it always grabs your attention, often in the hands of Oyelowo's performance. The March 7th, "Bloody Sunday" sequence is brutal to watch, but DuVernay and cinematographer Bradford Young achieve and deliver quite an intense and impactful set piece. Literally, it hits you in the gut as we watch history forged in flesh and blood.
I am still shocked that this film received so little recognition by the Academy. Oyelowo and DuVernay should have been nominated at the very least. I believe you can blame that to Paramount Pictures as I heard that they did not deliver the screeners on time for the Academy voters. It's a pity.
By the time we arrive at the film's postscript, revealing the fates of several people chronicled by Selma, it's almost impossible not to be moved by their courage and sacrifice. Selma to me, is not just a biopic, but rather a film that celebrates a community action through the eyes of Martin Luther King Jr. This movie sadly, could not be more relevant right now.
Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O'Neil and her cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan. Written by Paramount Pictures
So
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the reboot to the ever so popular
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman
for some reason and produced by Michael Bay, also for some reason.. You
all know the story by now. 4 mutated turtles grow up in the sewer raised
by a giant rat who knows martial arts and trains them so they can
protect the city from Shredder. No difference in this movie.
So
the movie opens up in sort of a graphic novel type animation telling the
story of the turtles which I'll admit was a nice nod to the original
source material from which Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came from. From
there we meet April (Megan Fox) who's trying to get a story about the
evil foot clan that have been terrorizing the city. She then witnesses
the turtles stop them and follows them to get evidence of their
existence. The turtles stop her and return to their master who says they
need April's help. I won't spoil why. From there they must work
together and stop Shredder from releasing a toxin on the city.
I
wanted simply one thing from this movie after all the crap I've seen
from it over the last few years. I want the turtles to be the turtles. I
want them to reflect how they were in the 2003 cartoon preferably. A
darker take but still humorous and likable. I grew up on that and the
80's cartoon and 1990's movies. Thank the lord I got that. The turtles
are the best part of this movie. They deliver some funny lines although
not everyone of them hit. Like you can feel that the jokes were modeled
for kids which the whole movie is basically. It's like a big toy
commercial. Or a Crush soda commercial. Or a Samsung phone and tablet
commercial. Yeeeeah lot of product placement in this movie. Very obvious
at that. Anyways as for the other characters we have April O'Neil
played by Megan Fox who was alright. I really wish they worked on her
dramatic screams though because those were just awful. We also have Will
Arnett as her camera man who I guess is supposed to be the comic relief
in this movie but literally does not have one funny joke in the whole
thing even though you can feel you're supposed to be laughing but I
didn't even smirk. It was like watching a stand up comic bomb his
performance. Splinter was an enjoyable character. You could really see
how he tied this family together.
Now if there's one thing I like
in a movie it's a good villain. Did I get this? No. No I did not.
Shredder has no character to him at all. In the 2003 version of him he
got all this character development and I learned the motivation behind
why he did what he did. In this he's literally just a guy who wants to
make money. Or at least help Eric Sacks (William Fichtner) make money
which is a very stupid motivation in my book. Usually villains steal
money for the purpose of something bigger but in this.. they just want
money. Which Eric already has because he lives in a freakin castle on
top of a mountain! How much more money does he need?! Sigh.. Shredder
was just so one dimensional and uninteresting. I was so let down by
this.
Well what about the effects? They're actually pretty good.
They did make the turtles sweat a lot though. Like A LOT. But it looked
nice so I was happy about that. One downside is the CGI went down a
little when interacting with humans. Like in Transformers 4. Not much to
say other than those two things because I didn't focus on it much.
One
last thing and I know every reviewer is saying this but it can't be
said enough. The climax of this movie literally is the end of The
Amazing Spider-Man only in the day time. Seriously watch The Amazing
Spider-Man before you see this and see how similar it is. It's crazy.
Going
in if you know this director and producer you're not expecting anything
amazing. I went in with extremely low expectations and they surpassed
them but only very very slightly.
I give it a 5.5/10.
The
theater had a bunch of 10 year olds who thought the movie was amazing
so at least they hit their target audience. But as a long time Ninja
Turtles fan I left disappointed and wanting a little more. If it earns
back the money maybe a sequel will be better. It won't but a guy can
dream.

Edge of Tomorrow 2014 Movies Reviews
After watching the trailer i was really hyped about the movie because of its theme and potential to be a really good movie. But on the other side i knew how bad the most potential good movies in the past ended up. I was scared that they screw it up and give us another Oblivion or Ilisium with much cgi-effects and bad story and no real story and/or characters.
So i took my girlfriend and went in the movie with mixed feelings. But then, right from the beginning, i knew this movie would be fantastic. The first minutes really hooked me and i found myself in a funny, filled with perfect action and intelligent movie. You had the feeling like you were directly in it and you really feel with Tom Cruise from the beginning to the end. I don't like Tom Cruise in general but this role just fits him. Nobody who sees this movie could deny this. From minute to minute i was more and more in this fantastic story and wanted to last forever. But eventually the movie ended and i was really satisfied with everything.
Two main characters who played perfectly, a fascinating story well told and really fast and good looking action made it for me the best movie i watched in a while (and i watch pretty much movies). Even though i don't like to recommend movies because of different tastes I really want to do this with this movie. The story is well told and there are no boring repeatings. Even my girlfriend who normally don't like movies with much action liked it a lot and added Emily Blunt to one of her favorite actresses of all time.

Dumb and Dumber To Movies Reviews
w
I was pretty disappointed in this movie, and I'm not really sure why. There were definitely some funny parts where I laughed, but the whole thing felt pretty....forced. Harry and Lloyd felt like exaggerated versions of themselves, the storyline was just OK, and I think what threw me off the most was that so much of the movie was recycled.
I mean, you wait this long for a sequel to an absolutely classic movie, you start wondering what brilliance they must be cooking up. However, a LOT of the jokes were literally the same as the ones from the original, like exactly the same. They also tried to recreate similar scenes, they even used a lot of the same soundtrack. While some may see this as nostalgia, I saw it as lazy film making.
I also didn't particularly like the silliness. The first movie had some random very silly parts that in context of the rest of the genuinely funny parts didn't bother me at all. However, this movie seemed to be made up of entirely ridiculous scenes. Almost cartoon like in the way it was done. Not a fan. It reminded me a little of the three stooges movie.
Overall, just not worth going to the movies to see. It's a shame Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels waited this long just to put out something so mediocre.
While We're Young is a 2014 American comedy-drama film written, produced, and directed by Noah Baumbach. The film stars Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Adam Driver, and Amanda Seyfried. It was screened in the Special Presentations section of the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.
While We're Young 2014 Story line
A middle-aged couple's career and marriage are overturned when a disarming young couple enters their lives.
While We're Young Movie Reviews It
feels as if we're back in "Greenburg" territory with "While We're
Young" made four years later, since we have the same writer and director
(Noah Baumbach) and the same lead actor (Ben Stiller) playing a similar
central character. This time, Stiller is Josh, married to Cornelia
(Naomi Watts), a middle-aged married couple who find themselves hooking
up with Jamie (Adam Driver) and Darby (Amanda Seyfried), a couple in
their twenties, who remind the older pair of the freshness and
spontaneity of youth while he struggles professionally and she laments
their inability to become parents.
The female roles are
underwritten and, while Driver is good, this is really Stiller's film.
The trouble is that he is such an irritating character, unable to
complete a long-running project to produce a boring documentary and
foolishly trying to recapture his lost youth. There are some funny
scenes and situations, but this is an uneven work with a sequence at a
hippy retreat proving particularly silly.
